New England Crab Cakes
2 cups or 3-6oz. cans crabmeat
1 cup crushed cornbread stuffing
1/2 cup milk
1/4-1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
2 Tbsp Howard's Hot or Sweet Pepper Relish
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 tsp Howard's Garlic Juice
2 Tbsp olive oil
Beat eggs and add milk, flour and bread crumbs. Stir in next 6 ingredients and put aside for 20 minutes. Gently add crab meat. In a large frying pan heat 2 Tbsp Olive Oil and drop large spoonfuls of mix to form 3" patties. Saute 3-4minutes on each side until browned, crip and warm all the way through. This makes 10 3" crab cakes or 20 smaller ones.
The small ones make great appetizers.
Howard's Gourmet Sliders
1 lb. Angus ground sirloin
2 Tbsp sour cream
1 tsp Howard's Garlic Juice
Toppings: Howard's Sweet, Hot or Green Piccalilli Relish
Optional Topping: Cheese
Mix the ground sirloin, sour cream and Howard's Garlic Juice. Form into small patties, bring to room temperature. Grill until desired wellness. Top with any of Howard's New England Style relishes.
